I am a Montessori-CASA trained educator and have more than a decade of experience in Montessori environments. I also have 2 active children who love adventures. They are my inspiration for teaming up with these wonderful individuals to create engaging and enriching experiences for our young campers. Let's make this summer truly unforgettable!

Hi everyone! I’m very excited to be part of this summer camp supervision team!! I’m currently a DECE in a kindergarten class. I was a Montessori toddler teacher for a few years and a nanny for 17 years before that. That’s what inspired my career with children. I absolutely love working with them and spending the day together. I love the outdoors, I’m very energetic and I think we’ll have a blast together. Can’t wait to meet everyone!

Hi everyone! I am thrilled to host your children at this year's Summer Camp. This camp benefits from my experiences as Co-Founder and previous Director of Stoney Creek Montessori School where I learned a lot about the needs of our community and our children. As a local Stoney Creek mom, I am excited to provide these opportunities to build our children's curiosity and confidence while they have a blast!

Hi! I am an Environmental Educator and accredited Montessori Assistant, currently completing an Outdoor Learning Certification. I have over five years experience as an informal educator, and a rich background in environmental learning including micro-credentials in climate change education, outdoor play-based learning, and land-based learning. But most of my learning happens when I'm working with kids! Inside or outside, connecting children to their natural world is my joy. I'm excited and thankful to do so with Stoney Creek Children's Club!

Hi Everyone! I cannot wait to explore ways in which we can interact with our surroundings in a creative way, using the earth as our canvas for fun art projects. I have my masters in painting and have been a high school art teacher for 5 years, where I have been able to share in my passion of art with the youth in the community. As a new mom, I am excited to bring my energetic zing to the team and all the kids I’ll be teaching. Let’s get grounded, get messy and have fun this summer!
Laila - Karate Instructor
Laila is a 2nd Degree Blackbelt, and actively trains and teaches at Perrins Martial Arts Studio in Stoney Creek. She also trains in both KickBoxing and Ju Jitsu.
